Our Team

Dan Wheeler

Physiotherapist and Practice Founder

In 2004 Dan commenced high level training in acupuncture and oriental medicine through the Australian Physiotherapy Association, as well as on-going learning in China.   Dan has gained notoriety on the Northern Beaches for his ability to combine Eastern and Western principles to manipulate and treat the body’s muscular, neurological and skeletal systems to enhance healing and progress.

Dan especially enjoys difficult cases and loves to make a difference in the lives of his patients. He is passionate about education and will happily give his patients as much information as possible about their condition to ensure they understand the 'what, how and why' of the issue.

When Dan isn't treating, he is kept buys by his four daughters and wife.  He enjoys being active and around nature and is a very keen skier.

Joe Lim

Joe graduated from Australian Catholic University in early 2019 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Prior to studying physiotherapy, Joe worked as a Fitness Trainer for six years and then subsequently became interested in the injury management side of training clients. This led him down the path of acquiring a Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2009 as well as certification in Active Release Technique (ART).

Throughout his clinical practice as a Remedial/Sports Massage Therapist, Joe became focused on producing results with manual therapy without causing any pain at all, a concept he learned from the developer of ART, Mike Leahy.

Joe is a passionate, hands-on physiotherapist who prides himself on producing tangible results in every treatment session. In addition, he is able to coach patients on proper exercise and rehabilitation with his fitness background.

Outside of work Joe is a health and fitness enthusiast as well as a watch collector and casual Uber driver!

Jo Lindsay

Remedial massage therapist and exercise physiologist

Jo is our resident massage guru, as well as running regular small group exercise classes at the clinic.  The classes focus on cadiorespiratory and strength training, with an emphasis on improving overall health either following surgery or to address other lifestyle illnesses.

You may catch her running around the clinic some days, but usually it is best to call if you're in need of a massage or would like to chat about your eligibility to join the exercise classes.

Nicole Pooley & Kristin Bell

Our SUPER reception team

These two happy and friendly faces are responsible for organizing the clinic from top to bottom and are the reason everything runs so smoothly.  We'd be lost without them.
